We marked the end of the New Hope preschool year with a Build-A-Bear party, the very definition of fun. Here we see the entourage line up for the festivities.
And here the whole New Hope Gang smiles big for each other and their new fuzzy friends, who I'm guessing will be around until Mr. Chad gets a new box ready for Good Will.

Gotta Dance
For Grandparents' Day at Trinity, each grade--and I mean each grade, from TK to 5--got to recite a poem (or two), sing a song (or two), and do a little dance for the lucky audience attendees. Always psyched to cut the rug in public, Hunter had a ball doing the X's and O's square dance for all to enjoy,.

The Big Easy
During my recent business trip to New Orleans, I tried to involve my peeps back home as best as I could by sending them some pictures of the more interesting sights of New Orleans.
For Leigh, we had a house that looked just like Tiana's Place from The Princess and the Frog.
For Hunter, some nice sidewalk art and jazz bands.

And for Miss Allie, my best effort to make her hurl was to send a picture of the sauteed frog legs I was having for lunch...
...and to save face, the beignets at Cafe Du Monde. Although they were divine, we really should admit they that are essentially just small funnel cakes like we get at the NC State Fair.
