Captain Jim

We didn't let the Memorial Day boat crowds keep us from having an awesome ride on Mr. Jim's boat.

Cheers!!

Morehead Memorial Day

We were all excited to visit with our buddies down at their place in Morehead over the Memorial Day weekend.

Although Mommy & Miss Connie thoroughly enjoyed lounging with their Coronas, the boys were all about the skimboarding.

Even Mr. Chad got in on the action...

Tubing was also big fun, as you can see by the expression on the guys' faces, who incidentally, had gotten a little carried away with the colored zinc oxide.

Aesop's Fables

After weeks of hard work memorizing his lines, we were thrilled to watch Hunter in his theatrical debut as Second Mouse during the Aesop's Fables show at school this week.

I Get By With A LIttle Help From My Na'vi

Luckily for Mr. Chad, a local tribe of Na'vi was available to help him build some new shelves for the Man Cave.

After all that hard construction work, the Na'vi headed back to Pandora for some well-deserved R&R.

The Fun Continues

AS IF the previous day at Uncle Billy's had not provided enough entertainment, Day 2 was full of cousins, boats, and refreshments for us grown-ups made from a gas-powered blender.

Waterway Fun & Games

We had a wonderful weekend visiting Uncle Billy & Aunt Susie at their new beach house.

Nanny had fun cutting the rug, first with Grandaddy, then with Leigh.

Meanwhile, Leigh enjoyed Uncle Billy's bongo beat...
...while boys of all sizes were riveted by the newest X-box adventure.

Once the sun went down, Leigh enjoyed prancing around the pool, while Nanny engaged the guys in a game of Quiddler around the poker table.

And before we hit the hay, Leigh became the reigning foosball champion while Hunter enjoyed a little special time with the hula girl.

Grandparents' Day

Hunter was excited to have Nanny & Grandaddy hear the rousing concert put on by the first-graders at Trinity for Grandparents' Day.
He was pleased and proud to show off some of his finest work to Nanny & G-Daddy.

 Hunter and the SandMan
Although there was much to be proud of on this auspicious occasion, perhaps the most impressive was this original artwork by Anna Kate. Her explanation? "A booger-picking machine."
