Although Hunter was thrilled at the arrival of the huge Sushi Boat, Daddy was a little nauseated at the anticipation of the huge Sushi Bill.
Back at the ranch, the birthday eating frenzy concluded with the Great Wall of Chocolate, compliments of PF Chang's.

Birthday Sushi
It was no surprise to any of us when Hunter chose sushi for his special birthday dinner, and even though they generally prefer their food slightly cooked, Nanny and Grandaddy joined us for the occasion.

Hunter Turns 7
As Hunter's 7th birthday rolled around, we decided to begin the festivities per our tradition, with Papa Murphy's, Harris Teeter, and our neighborhood BFFs.
Clearly, the crew had fun trying to show the camera the magic number for the evening, and we figured if you take an average of everyone's attempt, there was probably a 7 in there somewhere.
Unable to escape the Leading Ladies of the Cul-de-Sac, Hunter enjoyed some good birthday lovin' before the night was through.

Wedding of the Century #2
AS IF Wedding #1 wasn't enthralling enough, we were treated to a second wedding of The Littles. This time, the groom showed up in his Incredibles suit, while the bride donned one of her new fancy dresses from Nana and Papa.
Getting in on the action, Miss Karen helped direct this fabulous renewal of vows.
More kisses, More love
Should last until they dump each other again

Wedding of the Century #1
Fascinated with the idea of weddings, the kids have been entertaining us lately with their own nuptials. Ever the competent wedding director, Jackie makes sure Leigh is presentable for her trip down the aisle.
Realizing that DaddyO was still at work, Hunter was a quick stand-in for the Father of the Bride.
Lucy was the obvious choice for Chief Flower Girl.
The groom knew exactly how and when to raise the veil...
...and plant a big wet one on his new bride.
And, just like any man, the whole event left the groom a bit tired and ready to sit back and watch a ball game.

Ice, Ice Baby
Although the weather man's prediction for 2-4" snow didn't make it, the solid sheet of ice that we woke up to was enough to keep the kids out of school and make for some great ice dancing.
We didn't have any real sleds on hand, but a couple of overgrown Tupperware lids proved worthy in a pinch.
However, things really perked up once Claire and Rachel brought over Mr. Stewart's boogie board.
After all this fun, the tired Ice Crew enjoyed some snacks and Sponge Bob together.

Teams
Lately, the kids have decided that it's cool to hang out in teams. Having realized that their BMX suits are nearly identical, Hunter & Cameron enjoyed posing together for a few shots of Team Boy.
Meanwhile, Jackie and Leigh suited up as Wolverines for their team fun. Go figure.
