Lego Party
Ever the creative ones, Miss Ioana and Mr. Robert decided on a Lego Birthday Party for Seb and Christian this year.
Surrounded by a bevvy of boys, our Jackie didn't miss a beat. In fact, she completely showed these stinky boys how to build the biggest, best Lego tower ever.
Meanwhile, Leigh and Robbie Burke cavorted together on the couch. And anyone who knows either of these two knows that nothing good can come of this.
Hunter was thrilled when he won an award for one of the Lego games, but not so psyched once he realized the certificate was in fact the prize.

Fairy Tale Day
The event of the week at Trinity was Fairy Tale Day, for which Hunter's charge was to dress up as a character in a fairy tale. Although his wardrobe has historically been replete with options, they have all made their way to younger knights and kings. So, we decided to go with Robin Hood--the Kevin Costner version at that.
Once at school for the celebration, the kids read a fairy tale they had written together. An interesting look, I was so proud of the Hooded One in the front of the class.

Happy Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day at our house is always an occasion. Much to DaddyO's dismay, the kids got stuffed animals and huge, genetically-altered Hershey Kisses.
And despite Hunter's obvious skepticism about Mommy's restaurant choice, he managed to survive a fine dinner at 411 while Leigh reluctantly lived a night without mac-&-cheese.
Happy Vallentine's Day!!

Faces
What can I say? Serpil's face-painting ability just keeps getting better and better.
I wasn't sure what was going on here, but I was certain it needed to be captured for all time.

The Roll-A-Bout
There's nothing more enertaining on a cold Saturday in Burlington than an afternoon at the Roll-A-Bout rink, where we spent the day with our buddies Sandy and Miss Connie. Fortunately, the Roll-A-Bout has been able to withstand the pressure of the pop music era and has held strong in their belief that Disco--complete with the Disco Ball--is King.
Leigh and Miss Connie watched while Hunter lended a helping hand to the SandMan, a first-timer on skates.
Leigh didn't last long on her skates, but disintegrated pretty rapidly into hanging out and making pig faces. Afterall, any occasion is the right time to show off your finest boogers.

Flamenco Dancing
The girls are all about dressing up pretty and fancy-dancing. I'm not sure where Leigh picked up these moves, but clearly she is a natural.
